Gino is the chief executive and shareholder of LJL since 2007. His work, on a daily basis, is focused on managing human resources, namely personnel recruitment and occupational health and safety.
Gino has held management posts for various organizations active in exploiting and transforming natural resources for over 25 years. Before joining LJL, he had a key role in building the Norbord industries oriented strand board wood panel plant in La Sarre.
Over the years at Norbord, he worked in collaboration with plants, suppliers and customers from English Canada, the U.S.A., Europe and Japan.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in forest engineering from Laval University in Quebec City, Gino is a member of the Quebec Order of Forest Engineering and he also holds a master’s degree in Small and Medium-sized Business Management from l’Université du Québec [University of Quebec] in Chicoutimi. Born in Clerval, he now resides in La Sarre.
